Types of Veneers
There are two main types of dental veneers
- Porcelain veneers are lab fabricated ,custom made that bond onto your teeth to improve the colour, shape & size of your teeth which ultimately improves the appearance of your teeth.
- Composite veneers/bondings on the other hand are a layer of composite bonded directly to your teeth and treated with a beam of light so as to harden.
Composite veneers have the advantage that they can be completed in one appointment depending on the number of teeth requiring treatment.
Patients also have the freedom to choose which shade composite is used to achieve a brighter smile should they desire.
